Model Boat Harbour

At the model boat harbour of the Britzer Garden the Sail & Road e.V. has been presenting its ship models at many events for over 30 years. On almost all weekends from April to the beginning of October there is a lively sailing activity on the large lake, where both club members and hobby captains present their model boats. For the sake of the environment, however, only models without combustion engines and no »speedboats« are allowed on the lake. Beyond that, however, there are no limits to imagination and diversity. Whether sailboats, workboats or fancy yachts – all boats are welcome. The Sail und Road e.V. is always happy about new guest sailors, dates can be found on the website of the association. By the way, on some days we also offer children the opportunity to try out their nautical talents with specially provided models.
